Phased Array Technology
Similar to medical ultrasound, our phased array technology uses sound waves to produce radar-like underwater images of the area below, beside and in front of your vessel. At the heart of our phased array technology is an advanced "beamformer system" coupled to an array of carefully spaced ceramic transducer elements which can produce and steer underwater sound beams in many different directions by electronically phasing or timing the signals to each element. The resulting transducer requires no unreliable motors or other moving parts and can be easily mounted in a fixed position in the vessel's hull. No expensive hoists or sea chests are required.
